Join fellow alumni and experience the camaraderie of exploring the world with like-minded travelers. Each Go Next trip has been thoughtfully selected with you and your alma mater in mind. We take care of the details, so you can relax and enjoy the company of your fellow alumni.

UND License Plate

When you purchase a UND vehicle license plate, you:

  • Show your University of North Dakota pride.
  • Support UND students. The State of North Dakota returns $15 from each plate fee to the UND Alumni Association & Foundation.

How it works:

  • Anyone who has a registered North Dakota vehicle can secure a UND plate.
  • For $25, you get the UND Fighing Hawks plate. You will be assigned a random five-digit plate number.
  • For an additional $25, you can specify five letters or numbers of your choice. Click here to check if your letter/number selection is available.
    • Enter your requested letters/numbers.
    • Click on the UND Plate.
    • Hit Search at the bottom of the page.
  • Each year on your vehicle tag renewal statement, you will be assessed:
    • Regular tag fees.
    • $25 UND plate fee.
    • $25 vanity plate fee (if you select a vanity plate).
    • Note: You can order your plate today or wait until your annual tag renewal statment arrives.
  • Send application and payment to the North Dakota Department of Transportation.
